JUICERS
What are the benefits
of juicing?
Health experts agree that
maintaining good health includes eating a diet high in vegetables and
fruit. One way to help you get that dose of 5+ a day is to add fresh juice
to your diet. Freshly squeezed juice from a Health Products juicer retains
many more vitamins and minerals than the cooking process. That’s
because often they can get damaged during cooking.
Among the many other benefits, fresh juice helps boost your immune system,
is absorbed quickly into the body, aids in repair and rebuilding work
and assists to detoxify and cleanse the body.
What does raw
food mean?
Raw food is just food that
has not been cooked such as fruits and vegetables. Health experts have
been aware for some time of the benefits of including raw foods in your
daily diet. By not cooking vegetables you do not damage or destroy their
valuable nutrients and so your body is able to enjoy the full benefits
of the food you are absorbing.
What foods can
I juice with my new juicer?
You can juice just about
any fruit or vegetable including, leafy greens, carrots, celery, parsley,
cucumber, sprouts, tomatoes, apples, spinach, kale, just to name a few.
Try out combinations like carrot and celery for a delicious, nutritious
drink.
Are the juicers
easy to clean?
Both juicers are simple
to use, versatile and easy to clean.
Does the heat
from the engine in the juicer affect the nutrients in the food?
Because they operate at
low revolutions per minute, the heat from the motor is minimized and thus
helps maintain the enzymes and nutrients. This is because heat is largely
responsible for harming or destroying your food’s valuable minerals
and nutrients.
Do the juicers
extract wheat grass?
All of the juicers sold
by Health Products NZ will extract wheatgrass.
Can I use my juicer
for anything else?
The Compact juicer
can make pasta and noodles, as well as frozen desserts, baby food and
nut butters.
The Twin Health fruit and vegetable juicer will also make nut butters,
salsa, hummus and dips. It can also extract milk from raw coconut flesh,
soaked soya beans and almonds. As well, you can make your own sorbets
quickly and easily, just add your favourite frozen fruit straight into
the feeding chute.
