ZEN CHI MASSAGER
What does Chi
mean?
Chi is
a Chinese word and is associated with the energy of our life force. For
thousands of years Eastern health practitioners have understood the importance
of this life force for maintaining wellness.
Massage, meditation and exercise such as Yoga and Tai Chi are all recognized
as aiding the flow of Chi through out the body, as does the Zen Chi.
How does the Zen
Chi massager work?
The Zen
Chi works through the movement of kinetic energy which is carried through
the body from the ankles and up through the torso. It feels like a gentle
rocking motion which moves up the body and gently releases the tensions
which build up over the day.
How long does
it take to use the massager?
Taking
time out every day from our hectic schedule is an absolute must if we
want to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle. With the Zen Chi all it
takes is just fifteen minutes morning and night to really start feeling
the benefits.
However, when you are starting out with your Zen Chi we recommend that
you take it very slowly and build up the amount of time you spend on the
massager, gradually increasing it each day. Start out with no more than
five minutes for your first session. If your health is less than average,
make sure you have sought medical advice prior to using your Zen Chi.
Can I use it every
day?
Yes you
can use it every day and enjoy the benefits of a relaxed body, free from
the build up of daily tensions. All it takes is just fifteen minutes morning
and night and you’ll be investing in your future health and fitness.
What are the benefits
of using the Zen Chi massager?
There
are so many benefits using the Zen Chi. Aside from relaxing your body
and releasing tension, it is also great for relieving the effects of many
painful ailments. You’ll also benefit from feeling increased energy
levels and a sense of wellbeing.
Is there anything
I need to do before using the massager?
Water
is so vital to every cell in our body. Keeping your body well hydrated
at all times is essential for good health. Without adequate water, we
begin to feel sluggish and our responses become slower.
When using the Zen Chi it is recommended that before using your massager
that you drink at least 150mls of water.
It’s also a good idea to prepare your area before using the Zen
Chi massager. You should place the massager on a flat, hard surface such
as the floor. Don’t put in on a mattress!
What special preparations
do I need to make before using the Zen Chi?
To get
the most out of your Zen Chi it’s important that you take time to
relax and create a peaceful, tranquil setting. You should also allow yourself
time to unwind fully, in that way your body will be better able to absorb
the full benefits of the Zen Chi.
How do I use the
Zen Chi?
Place
the Zen Chi on a flat, hard surface. A mattress is not suitable. Lie down
and centre your body with the handle towards you. Place your ankles in
the ankle rest and once you are relaxed you can begin.
Is there anybody
who shouldn’t use the massager?
Please
do not use the Zen Chi if you are pregnant, after recent surgery or if
you have a serious heart condition. If you are unsure of whether the Zen
Chi is suitable for your state of health and fitness level, please seek
medical advice.
